Abstract Art in Acrylic Pouring Technique

Most of us have heard about the benefits of meditation.

But not many of us know about the benefits of artistic expression.

Creating art is a way to experience a meditative state of mind and the benefits it brings.

There are many forms of art.

Of all these forms fluid art seems the perfect candidate to introduce painting as meditation - you are mixing, pouring, layering colours, the paint moves on its own, creating shapes, textures, and meanings. All of this provides repetitive movements that naturally lend themselves to meditation.

You must let it go, or it doesn't work, relax your body, focus on simple steps and time passes without your noticing that relaxing your brain.

This class is limited to six students maximum.
 
Required:
No previous experience is required.
 
What you'll get:
You'll receive all materials, a stretched canvas and you'll make a beautiful painting.

What to bring:
Wear old clothes you don't mind getting paint on, or bring an apron. Gloves are provided.
